"Eastern Egg Rock Island Atlantic Puffins" oil 24"x 36" $2200
Look hard because the Puffins are hard to see! There are three puffins in /over the water and three pairs of nesting Common Eiders(at the tide line) and three kinds of terns in the background. And are you sea sick yet? The day I observed the island we had 4 foot swells. I was hoping to incorporate all this in the habitat of the reintroduced Atlantic Puffins. It is composed and painted swiftly but thoughtfully. The brushwork exudes the energy we all felt so close to nature's core. On to the Guillemot Painting.
